What Are Nasal Polyps?
Nasal polyps are soft, noncancerous growths that develop on the lining of your nasal passages or sinuses. They’re often linked to chronic inflammation and conditions such as asthma, allergies, sinus infections, or sensitivity to certain medications. Symptoms can include nasal congestion, runny nose, facial pressure, postnasal drip, or a reduced sense of smell.
While nasal polyps are not life-threatening, they can affect daily quality of life. Researchers continue to study what causes them, why they return, and how symptoms may be better managed in the future.
How You Can Help Advance Nasal Polyp Research
At Equity Medical, we conduct nasal polyp clinical trials at our 3 locations in Kentucky and New York. These studies help evaluate how nasal polyps affect different individuals and assess investigational options that may support symptom relief or improve care strategies over time.
Each study is led by experienced research teams, including board-certified investigators and trained clinical coordinators, to guide participants through every step of the process safely and clearly.

You May Be Eligible If You:
