What Is Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)?
Eosinophilic esophagitis, or EoE, is a chronic condition where white blood cells (eosinophils) build up in the esophagus, leading to inflammation and symptoms like difficulty swallowing or food getting stuck. It can be linked to allergies or sensitivities and may affect children and adults differently.
While EoE isn’t yet fully understood, researchers are studying what causes it, how it progresses, and how symptoms might be managed more effectively over time. Your participation in research may help support future care options.
How You Can Help Advance EoE Research
At Equity Medical, we run EoE clinical trials at our research sites in Kentucky and New York. These trials explore how eosinophilic esophagitis affects different individuals and test investigational approaches that could lead to new ways of managing EoE.
All studies are led by board-certified investigators, trained coordinators, and research teams focused on your safety, clarity, and experience throughout the process.

You May Be Eligible If You:
Submitting your interest doesn’t automatically enroll you in a trial. If you may qualify for any current or future EoE-related opportunities, our team will reach out to you.
